Desuperheater principle

These tools are used when the steam production temperatures are too high (making the vapor networks prohibitory) or inadmissible for miscellaneous processes, or when available superheated steam on a given network, must be saturated.

We have 2 types of disposal:

• Known as "desuperheate cane" if the pressure of the coolant is higher than that of the process
• Known as "venturi" if the pressure of the coolant is lower than that of the process
